Situated between Tamara, Lyridia, Ahrishen and Saua, and overlooking the Sea of Uran, the City-kingdoms of the Haréshk are relics of an ancient feudal system, still known for their heraldry and duchies, in this post-industrial age. Founded in 2893 RM after the conquest of the warlord Khad over Saedishi invaders, the City-kingdoms of the Haréshk comprise eight counties, each of which with its own regent who owes fealty to High-King Caeran.

Unlike other parts of Elyden, which are afflicted by her waning and the touch of the Atramenta, the Haréshk is a largely idyllic realm of rugged fields, rocky escarpments and clear water, and a climate that is supportive of arable farming and large-scale herding.

The silting of the Strait of Nárthel over the past centuries has all but stopped sea travel from the west, keeping the Haréshk and other lands to its east technologically stunted. Today the Haréshk is on the cusp of industrialisation and has begun importing ores and machined parts for use in its own fledgling manufactories, most of which have been built atop old mills. It eagerly absorbs any knowledge and information it can about the world-at-large through its ambassadors who have begun appearing in capitals across the Inner Sea and beyond. This has resulted in parts of the Haréshk forging close alliances with many powerful foreign states, of Korachan is one. This has led to internal strife, with many nobles in the Carian court rejecting the opening of its borders to such foreign influences, claiming that this may lead to the ruination of their idyllic land, which has thus far been fortunate in avoiding any Atramental taint of note.

What i like most about your maps is that they look far more modern and realistic than your typical fantasy fare.
